Mike Zitterich For City Council

About Mike Zitterich

Small Business Owner

Mike Zitterich was born, October 15, 1973 in Sioux Falls, S.D. Born to parents, Gary Zitterich (father), and to Vicky Foster (mother), Mike was raised in a christian family, blessed to be part of a strong-ethical family that put others first. Faith has been a strong family trait, grounded in morals, values, and sporting a strong sense of self-discipline, our family has operated an automotive repair facility for more than fifty years, while his mother during the 1980’s had operated a home daycare. This gave Mike the added value of what it meant to be part of a community, one where you provide the services to the public, whether it was providing the basic service such as an oil change, or providing neighbors affordable daycare, early-education services, it has made Mike the person he is today as he moves to operate his own small business of providing affordable-used vehicles to the people of his community. The Zitterich name has been synonymous in the automotive industry as well as in the local auto racing scene.

Less Government, Great Prosperity For All People!

I support the Establishment of a Public Office called Government Financial Transparency, this office would be created and operated under the City Council allowing the council to appoint three persons who would have the authority to investigate, audit, review, study ALL City Departments, Offices, Agencies, and all Non-Profit Organizations to seek out, and get rid of unnecessary expenses, fraud, abuse, waste. Allowing us to cut the size of city government, the budget, allowing us to tax the people less and less.

Put the People of the City of Sioux Falls First!

Lower Taxes - Transparency - Better Neighborhoods

We the People Save the Republic

Political Action Committee

We are a Political Action Committee Established to Promote Strong Citizen Activism

#1

We, the People, wish to Organize, and Form Bonds of All Elected Legislative Delegates, County, and Precinct Committees to whom wish to Act as One to hold Active Monthly, or Quarterly Statesman Town Hall Forums, of which allow the People to Meet Together to discuss political affairs of the State, the Counties, and the Precincts of South Dakota.

#2

We, the People, of who make up the State of South Dakota are a Group of People of whom are bound to both the United States Constitution (1789), and of the South Dakota Constitution (1889) of who wish to Meet Together to discuss important matters of the people, to whom the common goal is to enact public policies that best represent us.

I wish to Organize the Residents of the City of Sioux Falls to hold quarterly Town Halls to better listen to the people, work together to form better policies, help to draft ordinances, resolutions that help foster stronger community involvement, and public opinion. We are Stronger Together, as we operate our city government in the future. I would respect your opinion, and help to provide that voice on the city council during meetings.

Community defines a group of people living in the same place having a particular characteristic in common, to which they enjoy a feeling of fellowship with others. As a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals, a Chronicle is defined as a chronological record of events; a history of the people, and their community with a goal to record in or as in a chronicle.

Always Know Your History, to Make Our Future Better Tomorrow. A City is About the People.

The People

For the past decade, you could see Mike actively using his voice during city council meetings, standing up for small businesses, family and youth activities, and the history of our town. He has served among the several active precinct committeemen and women of Minnehaha County since 2022, helping to give the voters a voice within the political party structures. Playing a role in introducing strong morals, values, and ethics in our government, helping to find better candidates for Federal, State, and Local Government.

The People need a stronger voice on the city council.

We need a city council that better responds to the people more directly, and not one which caters to select few people who are chosen by organizations, committees and the associations of developers, powerful bankers, and chamber executives.

The city council in the years ahead, must do a better job at dialoguing with common residents, during public meetings, and less about trying to restrict their voices, thus paving the way for more transparency in government.

Our city works best, when everyone can share in the government process, thus collaborating together.

"My father once taught me to always admit your faults, admit your mistakes, and make the effort to move forward the best you can. Remember that you do not spell your name G-O-D, you spell your name M-I-K-E, meaning, you're not perfect, you often make mistakes, say the wrong things. But most importantly, you do your best, learn from those mistakes, and strive to be the best person you can be" - Mike Zitterich
If You Elect Mike Zitterich, he will make every effort to be the best representative, the best voice, that you deserve. He may not always vote, or say what he wants you to say, but he will always remain true to his convictions. Honesty goes further, than being someone you are not. He will donate his public salary back to the people, to charity, to help those who need the help.
